Determine if physical therapy is the right avenue for you with a FREE discovery consult.

In this visit, we collaborate with you about your needs and goals and provide an evaluation on whether or not physical therapy is appropriate.

If so, we will schedule an evaluation and follow up sessions to start tackling those goals!

If not, we will provide an appropriate referral so your needs and goals can be met by the right provider.

** This is a free up to 30 minute consult and can be in person or over the phone **

MOBILE PHYSICAL THERAPY

Physical therapy from the comfort of your own home or office!

The initial evaluation will determine the appropriate physical therapy interventions to meet your goals. We hear Your Story and take a detailed history, perform an evaluation to determine where your deficits are and collaborate with you on a treatment plan specific to you, your lifestyle and time-restraints. This is typically a 60-90 minute session.

Follow-up sessions are typically 1 hour but vary 30 minutes to 1 hour depending on your tolerance, life demands, care plan and progress toward goals.

Both Dr. Amanda and Dr. Emily are LSVT-BIG certified and graduates of the Rock Steady Boxing program and does provide these services in the home as well.

WELLNESS & PREVENTION

With insurance based models, prevention and wellness are aspects within a physical therapist's scope of practice that are not acknowledged.

Were you or your loved one cut off due to insurance limitations or discharged from physical therapy and worried about a decline or the pain returning?

We can help alleviate that fear and assist you with lifestyle changes including physical activity, fitness, general dietary and nutritional components for management and prevention of disease and disability.

We currently provide yearly, biyearly and monthly options for wellness packages based on your goals. We will absolutely accommodate if you feel you need more frequent visits to hold you accountable to your goals.

Yearly and Biyearly wellness packages include:
- Assessment of your posture, functional mobility and biomechanics of activities you routinely participate in (work and/or leisure).

- Assessment of gross strength, flexibility, range of motion and balance.

- Individualized home or gym program designed to meet your lifestyle, activity, performance and/or fitness goals to keep you doing the things you love or need to do.

These packages are also available if you are interested in aquatic exercise programming.

AQUATIC THERAPY

Dr. Emily offers individualized aquatic physical therapy services at the Clara R. McKenna Aquatic Center. Aquatic Exercise is wonderful for pain reduction, improved mobility, balance, and general health. Many can benefit from aquatic therapy especially if pain is otherwise limiting your tolerance to activity. We can complete aquatic therapy during any open swim hours.

Juvent Micro-Vibration Platform

Focusing on skeletal health, the Juvent provides a safe level of impact to promote natural joint and ligament pain, stimulate muscle fibers, gently exercise your bones, promote circulation and lymphatic flow and help your balance.

This helps improve your bone health, lessen pain, improve range of motion, improve circulation and stability and even promote weight loss. It also may improve nerve related pain.

Red Light Therapy (Coming August 2024)

Red Light Therapy (RLT) is a therapeutic treatment that uses low-level red and near-infrared wavelengths of light to stimulate your cells and production of ATP. With more ATP, cells can function more efficiently, rejuvenate themselves, and repair damage. Unlike UV rays from tanning beds or direct sunlight, RLT does not contain ultraviolet rays and is thus considered safe for regular use.
Do you have pain, skin issues, weight loss goals, Diabetes, Neurological issues, depression or anxiety, or poor sleep? Our medical grade Red Light Therapy Bed may help you!
